IT之家 2 月 8 日消息 據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，特斯拉購買了價(jià)值 15 億美元的比特幣，受此消息影響，比特幣短線拉升至 43000 美元以上創(chuàng)歷史新高，,后續(xù)漲至 44849 美元，日漲幅最高接近 15%。
因此，比特幣市值已升至全球市值資產(chǎn)第 7 位（8107 億美元，AssetDash 數(shù)據(jù)），超越 Facebook 和特斯拉，僅次于蘋果、微軟、沙特阿美、亞馬遜、谷歌和騰訊。
IT之家了解到，特斯拉此前發(fā)表公告稱：預(yù)計(jì)在不久的將來開始接受比特幣作為支付產(chǎn)品的一種形式，將受適用法律的約束，并且最初將基于有限基礎(chǔ)。
In January 2021, we updated our investment policy to provide us with more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns on our cash that is not required to maintain adequate operating liquidity. As part of the policy, which was duly approved by the Audit Committee of our Board of Directors, we may invest a portion of such cash in certain alternative reserve assets including digital assets, gold bullion, gold exchange-traded funds and other assets as specified in the future. Thereafter, we invested an aggregate $1.50 billion in bitcoin under this policy and may acquire and hold digital assets from time to time or long-term. Moreover, we expect to begin accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for our products in the near future, subject to applicable laws and initially on a limited basis, which we may or may not liquidate upon receipt.
